The Flight Test Historical Foundation sponsored the Gathering of Eagles to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first flight of the X-15 and to honor the X-15 team. The banquet was held in Lancaster Ca on 16 Oct 2009 and featured an on-stage panel of test pilots and engineers.
